Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Yonder Boys. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their music and video a lot.
This is something different and very sophisticated.
This band takes us on a journey to rediscover traditional music, a music that mixes elements of American popular music with elements of European popular music.
The Yonder Boys have managed to create a perfect recipe to create something unique and magical.
I was really captivated by their music and I closed my eyes and I imagined those magnificent Mediterranean landscapes where life passes slowly and where the values are the real ones.
The video or rather the short film that accompanies this song has something like a Fellini touch. The director was able to make you feel there with the band and breathe that quiet breeze of that medieval town.
A fantastic find that I recommend to everyone.

Berlin based trio Yonder Boys are an Americana band, who while performing on traditional folk instruments, show great depth in variety of influences they bring to the genre. Traditional old-time Americana sound is mixed with rock, Latin, pop, and psychedelic influences.
The band features the singing duo of Jason Serious (USA -vocals, guitar) and David Stewart Ingleton (AUS- vocals, banjo) who have performed as support for Billy Bragg, The Wood Brothers, Timber Timbre, Other Lives, and Nathaniel Rateliff. Joining them is multi-instrumentalist Tomás Peralta (CHL-vocals, mandolin,
lap steel, banjo, bass).
