our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Yana. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and was fascinated by her music.
As soon as I hit the play button I was immediately intrigued by the voice of this artist.
A warm and deep vocal timbre capable of speaking directly to the heart and soul of the listener.
Yana’s compositional style is instinctive and primordial and brings with it ancestral harmonies that seem to hide a universal secret.
This music makes you travel with your imagination and allows you to discover unknown parts of your unconscious.
An artist who has decided to follow her instinct and who walks a unique and original musical path. The passion that Yana puts into composing and interpreting her songs is incredible.
An artist that I recommend to everyone!

Yana is a singer/songwriter from Czech Republic. Music has always been a huge part of her life and she has always been fascinated by meaningful lyrics and with her own songs she tries to pass a message to the listeners, make them think while they are enjoying the music.
Her influences include the likes of Interference, Mic Christopher, J Eoin, Cloud Cult, Glen Hansard and many more. Her music has been played in Ireland, UK, Australia, USA or Germany, she has performed in Ireland, UK, Belgium and the Czech Republic so far.
Her debut EP Distant Shore was released on June 30th 2020. She is currently writing new material and hopes to start recording her debut album in Ireland in 2021. “Great tribute to Fergus O’Farrell” – Fiachna Ó Braonáin, RTÉ Radio 1
