Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Metrophobia in the past but they are back with a new cool single and I want to share my opinion about it.
Words Unsaid is Metrophobia’s Single | Indie Music
This new tune from this duo is enigmatic and mysterious. I really liked the twilight vibes, a sound for the people of the night.
In their songs, it is as if Placebo, Depeche Mode, and Pet Shop Boys have come together to create this unique musical blend.
Metrophobia’s music seems to hide a secret and meaning much deeper than what you can hear.
The song is accompanied by a video with black and white images that perfectly describes the vibes of Words Unsaid.
This duo has a lot of music inside them and above all, they have a lot to say. Their artistic vision is solid and they prove to have a great compositional experience behind them.
Absolutely reconfirmed!

Words Unsaid is Metrophobia’s Single | Indie Music
This is the 7th single released in 2022, as part of the « One single per month » campaign.
Back on more familiar grounds, this song is dark, with powerful drums, rich bass lines, a wall of guitar noise full of melodies, with soft and melancholic vocals.
About the lyrics :
Life is far too short to leave important words unsaid. We’d like to dedicate this song to persons who suffer from Alzheimer, and their families. The two Swiss/Spanish musicians first met a long time ago, and did a couple of projects together. Reunited in 2021, they worked hard to write and record their debut album : « Silent Treatment ».
The Swiss duo indie/alternative songs have rock solid roots, with sweet and light melodies, leaving an aftertaste of bands like Pixies, Teenage Fanclub, Bivouac, Dinosaur Jr, Catherine Wheel, Ride. We even find some reminiscence of the early Lo-Fi scene.
Markus Gmür : vocals, acoustic guitar, José Garrido : guitar, bass, drums programming
