I already reviewed Kate Ellis in the past but she is out now with a new fantastic single and I want to share my opinion about it.
We already live in the ‘Wonderland’ and it is here now but what are we doing to keep it that way?
Every day we wake up believing that the beauty that surrounds us is something eternal and immutable but instead this is an immense gift that we must respect and we must not take it for granted.
This is an unconditional act of love fruit of the universal magic of life.
This song lives in a particular limbo because the words touch the heart with very deep lyrics but at the same time, the music is so sweet that somehow it makes me believe that it is possible to hope for a better future.
Maybe one day we will realize how lucky we are to be here now in this Wonderland called earth, we just have to open our eyes and above all open our hearts and listen to the lament of nature…this beautiful song is a message that wants to wake us up…mother nature is calling and wants to give us another chance and we have to take it because time is running out.

‘Wonderland’ is a new song by Americana singer-songwriter Kate Ellis about intensely experiencing the wonder and fragility of the natural world – it is being released as part of an inspiring sustainability and contemporary art project in collaboration with artist Geraldine Van Heemstra, a member of the Wilderness Art Collective. The Wonderland project aims to give a musical voice to the environmental rallying cry for urgent government action to protect our planet at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 26) in November.
