Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Wolf & Clover. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was bewitched by the atmosphere created by their songs.
I was literally fascinated and hypnotized by the music of this talented band.
I’ve always been a lover of traditional music and honestly, this is one of the most beautiful I’ve heard.
Celtic culture is mysterious and intriguing and these songs bring with them ancestral vibes that are lost in the mists of time.
I literally took a trip to a parallel universe and saw myself walking barefoot across the green Irish meadows in the Middle Ages. I danced with beautiful red-haired women and drank beer until dawn.
I got goosebumps feeling the intensity and passion that Wolf & Clover put into composing their music. It feels like these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.
We are faced with great musicians and great composers. I highly recommend them to everyone because their music makes you daydream…this album is fantastic.

Wolf & Clover takes inspiration from a variety of musical genres, with heavy influence coming from the Irish (and other Celtic) traditions as well as the individual backgrounds of each member of the group. We like new tunes, especially Irish-style tunes written by living composers, and the oldest of the old at the same time. Sometimes we take risks with harmony and decorations.
Wolf & Clover is also committed to An Ghaeilge (the Irish Language) and has worked on several recording projects with singers in that language.
