our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Willi Leinen. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of his music.
Every so often it’s nice to be in front of such talented musicians as Willi Leinen.
On this webpage we are generally talking about rock, but what could be more innovative, irreverent and rock than an acoustic guitar that with its arpeggios can tickle the darkest parts of your soul?
This instrument has always made me think of the Middle Ages, an obscure, difficult era where minstrels used to cheer the courts with this music, a music that always manages to contain within itself a disruptive nostalgia capable of moving distant emotions.
The execution of the musical pieces is masterful, the strings are plucked with love and without any uncertainty.
Being able to calibrate the strength and transfer one’s emotions from the hands to the strings is not easy at all.
Willi Leinen after years of study is able to give us today these Four Homages and we hope that there will be many more in the future.
