The first thing that struck me about this artist is her voice. A very particular vocal timbre that makes Day Nah’s music stand out from the crowd.
Surely this artist likes to experiment. The compositional approach is innovative and courageous.
The inspirations of classic rock are evident but have been skillfully incorporated into a modern and original musical product.
The rhythm of Wild and Free is contagious, tribal, and African which awakens ancestral instincts. Day Nah’s interpretation is passionate and indeed the sacred fire of rock flows in this girl’s blood.
A very interesting musical project that I recommend everyone to go and listen to.
Day Nah is an artist who follows her instincts and is not afraid to follow musical paths never traveled before.

Introducing Day Nah, the Romanian-born music artist creating waves in Copenhagen’s music scene. Hailing from a family with a strong musical background – her father was a guitarist, and her mother was a vocalist – Day Nah was introduced to the world of rock and roll, blues, funk, and soul legends at a young age, which shaped her composing and singing style into a unique and captivating blend.
Drawing inspiration from music greats such as Janis Joplin, Etta James, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, James Brown, Amy Winehouse, and Joss Stone, Day Nah taught herself how to sing and experimented with contemporary R&B, lo-fi, and electropop under the names Dayna and Diella Siel. However, it was her upcoming EP that brought Day Nah back to her roots, fusing blues-rock, soul, and funk into an exciting and intoxicating blend.
