our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Wham Bam!. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I really liked the energy of their music.
The music proposed by this band is really fun, they have a very playful approach to music without forgetting a touch of nostalgia and mystery that they add to their melodies.
This mix is really fascinating, even looking at the graphics and videos you are a bit displaced by this duality.
They reminded me of when Blink 182, that after some nice and irreverent songs, adjusted the tip slightly with Adam’s Song, adding a touch of melancholy, which in my opinion remains the most successful single of that band.
Wham Bam! manage to put you in that wonderful atmosphere a bit as Bad Religion did with Generator.
These kind of songs and mix of emotions are killer.
A very interesting band with a clear vision on how to propose its music to the world and with many things to say.
These guys are talented and know how to make songs and understand and create emotions that go deep inside.

HopePunk Records is excited to announce the release of a new song and lyric video by WHAM BAM!, an alternative party rock duo based between South Africa and Germany.
The catchy new single “ALLEEN” is brought to life with a fun lyric video in typical WHAM BAM! style – this time the band ends up as the heroes in an old-school video game, fighting off bad guys to save the princess.
“ALLEEN” is an Afrikaans language version of their hit debut single “On Your Own”, and is a shout out to their South African roots and fans.
