This new single from this talented duo is mysterious, dark, and fascinating.
This melody is epic and speaks to your unconscious. Your nervous system is stimulated and begins to send electrical impulses that create luminous wedges in front of your eyes.
The repeated and hypnotic guitar arpeggio creates the right atmosphere while the drum riffs try to touch your senses in different parts, like raindrops falling into a puddle.
The verse recalls the underworld while the chorus shows you heaven with that angelic melody of the pads that opens the whole song.
Hailing Ishimura are a very talented duo who have managed to create their own musical universe that makes them stand out from the crowd.
Their music is powerful and intense but at the same time meditative.

‘We Did It To Survive’ is one of our heavier tracks, mixing Metal, Post-Rock, SynthWave, and Prog Rock.
This track needed to be dark to help convey this part of the story that we are trying to tell on our album. We leaned into heavier tones to help create the vibe we were looking for.
‘We Did It To Survive’ finds the adventurers at their most desperate. They are dead in the water and they have to make hard decisions. The vibe of the track embodies this completely. It’s dark and brooding, but light at times.
