Mia Yermeche is a 20-year-old singer/songwriter from Bettystown Co. Meath. She found her love for R&B at a young age. She released her first single ‘Butterflies’ in April of 2021, which placed number 1 on the iTunes UK/Ireland charts. After her first release, she was named Spin1038’s ‘artist to watch’; she then went on to be one of the five finalists in Hotpress’s ‘A New Local Hero.’ She performed at their showcase at The Academy Dublin and was named ‘Hot for 2022’ by Hotpress. Mia recently took part in the televised competition program, ‘The Big Deal.’ Since then, Mia has been busy working on music and collaborating with other Irish artists. She counts Mahalia, Snoh Aalegra, and Kehlani as some of her current musical influences.
