From the first arpeggio, this song makes you travel with your mind. And you feel like a wanderer with broken shoes waiting for a train to arrive under an oak.
I instantly liked the compositional style of Geoff Gibbons and in some moments his vision reminded me of artists like Hootie & the Blowfish and Soggy Bottom Boys.
This artist proves to have a great compositional experience behind him as his songs are melodically constructed in an exemplary way.
The vocal interpretation is intense and makes you believe in the words of the lyrics.
A sweet and nostalgic song that creates particular magic and makes you want to disappear into the world and finally be free.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

From Vancouver Canada.. Geoff Gibbons is a multi-hyphenate songwriter, musician, recording artist, record producer, studio owner, recording engineer, and video director: through a kaleidoscopic lens of creative endeavours, Geoff Gibbons reveals his ongoing dedication to the art of popular music.
With an expansive collection of full-length releases, EPs, singles, and videos as a solo artist, Geoff is also a member of Canada’s New Yank Yorkies, a roots/Americana band comprised of top Canadian session players with a formidable list of collective credits. Geoff is also teamed with singer-songwriter Vicky Sjohall to create KasēoGems, a duo whose original songs, imaginative covers, and intuitive harmonies evoke a contemplative aura.
Over his career Geoff has shared stages as an opening act for legendary artists such as Emmy-Lou Harris, T-Bone Burnette, David Crosby, Levon Helm and Rick Danko to name a few. Fitting into an Americana tinged singer-songwriter style, his music drives the same lane as say…Jackson Browne, Ryan Adams, and The Jayhawks.
