Turn It Around is The Hungry Young’s New Single
From the first power chord, good vibes explode like a supernova, instantly transporting you to a stadium packed with headbangers and lighters held high.
While a whiff of hard rock giants like Ghost might waft through these harmonies, The Hungry Young quickly establish their own sonic territory.
Their sound is a potent mix of heavy guitars, soaring vocals, and a melody so catchy it burrows into your brain and refuses to leave.
The guitar solo is fantastic, a fiery eruption of technical talent that leaves you breathless. But it’s not just about shredding; it’s about emotion, perfectly mirroring the song’s message of resilience and hope.
And let’s not forget the vocals – theatrical, passionate, and brimming with conviction.
Anthem for Change: This is more than just a rock song; it’s a call to action. The lyrics paint a picture of overcoming obstacles, facing challenges head-on, and emerging stronger on the other side.
In a world often shrouded in negativity, “Turn It Around” is a ray of light, a reminder that even in the darkest moments, we have the power to change our own destiny.
But beneath the cool exterior lies a band with genuine passion and a clear message. Their music is real, direct, and hits you straight in the gut, leaving you wanting more.

The song follows the success of The Hungry Young’s singles “Go” and “Broken Past,” with Earmilk saying about the latter: “Masterful instrumentation and soul-stirring vocals create an immersive experience that resonates long after the final note.” Featuring frontman/Broadway performer Ian Ward (“Gettin’ the Band Back Together,” “Rock of Ages”), whose voice was described by Medium as “reminiscent of legends like Steve Perry and Sting,” the trio also includes keyboardist Jessica Heming and drummer/Emmy nominee Ramsey Ord.
