Good Day Noir Family,
welcome to Edgar Allan Poets indie music corner. A space dedicated to the best new artists and bands we find around the web. Today’s featured Band is Candid and their single Tonight.
Tonight is Candid’s Single Out Now
The sound of this band is fresh and modern.
I was immediately intrigued by their music. It is evident that this is a band on a mission. Professionalism and passion exude from the notes of their new single Tonight.
The vocal timbre is very interesting, a mix between Bono and Matt Bellamy. A voice that manages to reach very high notes and that takes the listener to heaven.
All the band members are very good musicians, sincerely I have not found flaws in the performance and production.
Candid have clear ideas on how to develop their musical project and their determination will take them far.
Tonight is a radio-friendly song that can easily compete with the hits that dominate the charts around the world.
I advise everyone to keep this band under the radar. I’m sure these guys will lead the way.
Tonight is Candid’s Single Out Now!

Tonight is Candid’s Single Out Now
Candid deal in a brutal emotional honesty funnelled through songs as sharp as they are soothing. Searing guitar riffs, irresistible drum beats and a backbone of honest, unreserved lyrics deliver a commanding live show, not to be missed. After 3 hometown sell-out shows and an impressive string of support slots including Scouting For Girls, The Hoosiers and The Pale White; Candid’s infectious indie rock has won the hearts of the local music scene with an unchained drive to take their music to the next level. After the release of their latest single ‘Pulling Away’, the explosive next step in Candid’s journey, the band received backing from Radio 1 and were invited to perform at Radio 1’s Big Weekend, as well as a feature on Huw Stephen’s Introducing show on Radio 1.
Throughout the pandemic, Coventry’s indie favourites haven’t rested on their laurels, instead the band took to using their musical prowess to entertain and keep spirits high during a rough time. With weekend at Parr Street Studios under their belt producing what is said to be their best work yet, Candid are about to show the world exactly what they’re all about.
