Northern Trails are rooted in Americana, 90s Britpop and Swedish indie pop tradition. The band dresses timeless and melancholic melodies in Americana costumes and adorns them with genre-crossing pearls.
Northern Trails was formed in Uppsala, Sweden in May 2022 when Christer Tinnerholm och Thomas Isberg agreed to focus less on ultra running and more on pop music. Per Larsson och Ulf Eklund, who played bluegrass, jazz och surf rock with Christer in different bands, joined in and completed a band with hit potential and musical ambitions.
