our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Vonics. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of their sound.
The music of this band has the ability to put you in a good mood.
A compositional style that takes its cue from the past but that manages to be modern at the same time. Their style is unique and I thought I saw the Beatles meet Steve Wonder on their new single Goodbye.
Surely we are faced with great musicians with amazing compositional experience behind them.
It feels like The Vonics spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable musical understanding.
The song is both in terms of production and arrangements very refined with never banal and obvious artistic choices.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

By crossing over multiple genres and weaving them together to form their own kind of noise, The Vonics are an upbeat Alternative / Power Pop Rock band. Formed in 2018, the five piece band from Dudley, West Midlands, have a big passion for writing and recording their own music.
