Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Lowtones. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked a lot their musical approach.
The twilight atmosphere created by the music of this band immediately bewitched me. A rock, alternative in typical English style that hides something sinister and mysterious.
It feels like these guys take inspiration from the great bands of the past, but they still managed to create a unique and modern sound.
Their music is immediately recognizable and you can hear that these guys have spent many hours in the rehearsal room to reach this enviable sound understanding.
The production is very good, perfect for this genre, especially the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Norwich-based band formed in February 2020. Influenced by bands like The Smiths, The Cure, and Joy Division. The Lowtones are; Oli ‘Mav’ Mavilio (Vocals) Jack Abbott (Guitar) Tim Cary (Bass) George Abbott (Drums).
