E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – The Helters
Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Helters. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their unique sound.
A nice energy is released from the music of this band.
In some moments their compositional style reminded me of Blink 182 and you will wonder why since Blink 182 are a punk rock band.
Perhaps because of the singer’s way of singing and how he interprets the words of the lyrics… there I found some Blink. The sound is obviously different, the music of the Helters is a little softer and it is this prerogative that makes their music so original.
In my opinion, these guys have managed to find a middle ground between the punk I mentioned earlier and rock pop.
This combination of elements creates a very fascinating and in my opinion innovative musical style.
The mix is well done and leaves the right space for every sound element.
Go and listen it is worth it.
Gaslighting The End Times is The Helters’s Single Out Now!

Five piece alt/indie band from Bristol, The Helters have released their new single ‘Gaslighting The End Times’. The band comprised of members Mark Owen (vocals), Davey Roberts (guitar) , Charlie last (drums), Conor Dolan (bass) and Tobias Faulkner (guitar) have been together since 2019 and have already been featured on BBC Introducing as well as selling out local venues and getting regular plays on local stations over the country.
