Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Heavy Benders. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their music a lot.
The music proposed by this band is really interesting.
The new album of The Heavy Benders exudes energy and melodies that in some moments reminded me of R.E.M and in others the Counting Crows and Depeche Mode.
Intense, nostalgic melodies that speak directly to the listener’s heart and soul.
The production is very professional, the mix leaves the right space for each sound element and the album breathes and lives very well.
Honestly, I liked all the songs proposed, a mature and coherent work for sure.
These guys are in my opinion ready to entertain the masses around the world. I believe that The Heavy Benders have a bright future ahead of them because they offer quality music, masterfully produced and performed.
Thumbs up!
The Greater Scheme is The Heavy Benders’ Album Out Now!
Mature and Refined!
Quote: “One day I woke up and I found my voice and then I started writing songs and then I couldn’t stop writing. I started dreaming about music. I stopped listening to anything else and I immersed myself in my music. I’ve written a shit ton of songs from which Kill Your Heart is the first of two albums from. The second one is called ‘The Greater Scheme’ and hopefully will be finished soon, I think it’s a good compliment to Kill Your Heart. I’ve fucking loved doing this and its brought me a lot of joy and I hope it brings you some too. The Heavy Benders are : Ben Holst – Drums & words/Dario Marquez – Synths & Samples/J Stringers – Vox & Guitar. \m/“
