Hailing from Ballymagorry, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland, Joe Hodgson is a guitarist whose music reflects the raw beauty and turbulent history of his homeland. Drawing from rock, blues, jazz, and Irish traditions, his instrumental compositions are both sweeping and deeply emotive.
After years performing and recording with London-based bands across Europe, Hodgson returned home in 2018. His debut solo album, Apparitions (2020), earned widespread critical praise, with Guitar World calling his playing “elite” and ANR Factory hailing the album as “a modern-day masterpiece.”
