Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Dares. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like their music a lot.
I immediately liked the fresh and modern sound presented by this band.
Music that puts a good mood and lingers on high frequencies making the overall sound entertaining and catchy.
The voice of the singer is interesting, he manages to interpret the lyrics with passion and with the right energy. It feels like these guys have a lot of compositional experience behind them and that they spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve this enviable musical chemistry.
The Dares have created their own music that sets them apart from all other bands.
The production is very good and honestly, I found no flaws with this song. Great production and performance.

The Dares are an indie rock band formed by twin brothers Ben and Matt Peterson. Going through a few different line ups and variations, the current band has been performing together since 2010. They’ve toured the US and released one album (“Duped” 2011), two EP’s (“Nothing But A Start” 2015 & “Bad Faith” 2018), and many singles.
