our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Brambles. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their dreamy sound.
This ethereal and magical music immediately made me fly with my mind.
It took a moment to be carried out of my room and I saw myself on a boat sailing the ocean with the sun setting in front of me.
Music that makes you feel free and frees you from the thoughts of everyday life.
I felt the wind on my skin, the airiness of the sounds created the sensation of immensity and freedom.
My lungs filled with hope and I carried within me all the beautiful emotions that the music of this band was giving me.
A fantastic find that I recommend to everyone!

Dreamy and Nostalgic!
The Brambles are a British electronic retro-pop duo based in Manchester, England. Formed in North Wales in 2020, the band consists of Lil n (composer, backing vocals) and Owen Kimpton (lyrics, lead vocals). They released their debut single, ‘Trevorposting’, in June 2021, exploring the topic of power within the entertainment industry.
Influenced by artists such as The Avalanches and LCD Soundsystem, the track juxtaposes its grave lyrical content against a deceivingly upbeat, driving instrumental. Created in two different bedrooms amidst a worldwide lockdown, their debut album (to be announced) will explore the topic of life inside a simulated reality.
