The sound of this tune reminded me of 80’s rock and bewitched me. The unique touch of MADAME NEPTUNE, however, is now a hallmark.
This twilight song gazes into the abyss and recalls the forest with weirdly unique sounds.
The bridge at 2.45 minutes makes you go from a Talking Heads kind of riff to the soundtrack of Ghosts ‘N Goblins, do you remember that spooky game?
The genius of this duo can be seen in these intuitions. They always manage to amaze by experimenting and risking innovative harmonic solutions.
MADAME NEPTUNE has the great talent of being able to make the musical thread coherent and solid.
The Banshee‘s rhythmic and melodic shifts ultimately create an intricate gothic doily and you are in awe of their superlative songwriting talent.

THE BANSHEE is our 5th release and leads you through haunting and driving psychedelic rock sounds. The mixture of 70s vibes and occult rock charm is somewhere between nostalgic and spooky. So put on your bootcut jeans and platform shoes and dance.
MADAME NEPTUNE is a two-piece art project (2022, Germany). While Madame Neptune, a gifted medium, struggles from her past, her devastating dreams and the urge to stop the wrong prophets and fake fortunetellers, her own story seems to be a bit complicated and complex.
