Tennessee is Charlotte Morris’ Single Out Now

I was enchanted by the voice of this artist.

An intense and deep vocal timbre capable of speaking to the heart and soul of the listener. She has excellent voice control and excellent expressive abilities.

We find ourselves in front of a great singer-songwriter, who knows music very well. She can play many instruments and above all, she can write meaningful and touching lyrics that stay in your head for a long time.

While I was listening to this tune I felt like I was with her in Tennessee, I saw the sky of that beautiful state too.

This song moved me a lot. Charlotte Morris is the real deal, a professional who is enjoying but will have even more success in the future.

Her determination and her talent will take her far. Her music has nothing to envy to the songs that dominate the charts.

Tennessee is a marvelous song, which I recommend to everyone to go and listen to… we are facing a new Star.

Growing up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Charlotte Morris discovered her passion for music at a young age. “I’ve been playing instruments since I could walk and singing since I could talk,” the singer/songwriter explains. As a child, her parents would take her to classical concerts and musical theatre productions, igniting a fire inside of young Charlotte’s soul. “Every family car ride was filled with folk classics, musical theatre or classical music – Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Simon & Garfunkel, and Peter, Paul & Mary were all the soundtracks of my childhood.”

After starting violin lessons at the age of four, Charlotte taught herself how to play the guitar, piano (and melodica), ukulele, banjo, acoustic bass guitar and mandolin, and began taking her songwriting seriously by the age of twelve. “Music grew from something I loved to something I needed. That sounds wildly dramatic, I know, but before then I had never felt able to fully express myself.

Describing her unique style as genuine, raw and emotional music with a purpose, Charlotte takes inspiration from female story-telling artists like Delta Rae, Brandi Carlile, Sara Bareilles, and The Chicks. “These artists have really shown me that I don’t need to fit into a box. Everything I write is about my life. My lyrics are usually extremely specific and paint a very clear picture about personal stories.
