The dynamic and harmonic progression of this song immediately hooked me.
A late 90s-tinged alternative rock tune with classic Blueburst vintage flair.
In life you have to keep putting yourself on the line…as they say, as long as there is life there is hope. There are people who get depressed over time and think it’s already all over and others instead who make the most of their time.
Supernova is a deep song with a rhythm that deceives you and makes you think of a happy song. But if you listen to the lyrics this song has an intriguing twist.
There is a nostalgic romantic aura around this beautiful track. Already from the first time I listened to Blueburst, I liked them a lot and this idea is reconfirmed also with Supernova.

Supernova is Blueburst’s Single Out Now
“Supernova” is the second single from Blueburst. It’s a bit of a paradox in that it’s a joyful uplifiting song that’s about death. But it comes right from the story of how Blueburst came to be. Guitarist/vocalist Craig Douglas Miller turned 50, and decided that instead of lamenting getting older, he was going to make the most of his time, and start writing and releasing original music again after a 20 year hibernation.
So, Supernova is an uptempo blast of joy, freedom and the determination to continue being young in spirit, no matter how long you’ve been around.
