Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Sukh. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of his music.
The compositional approach of this artist immediately struck me.
Maybe just because he’s a doctor somehow his music got inside me and healed my heart and soul. A music that transfers positive energy and that manages to give hope for the future.
A breath of fresh air in such a stressful time for the world.
The melody of this eclectic artist’s new single Rendezvous lingers long after listening to it.
The production is good and the melodic construction and the chord progression is never predictable and banal and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
Rendezvous is Sukh’s Single Out Now!
Refined and Magical!
Taking inspiration from classic literature, cinema and psychology Sukh combines observational storytelling with a thoughtful and reflective mirror. His homegrown sound melds the rocky landscapes of The National, the rational optimism of Vampire Weekend and the emotional catharsis of Jason Isbell.
He draws from his role as a doctor to reflect on the struggles and the joys of being human. Like a film director his instrumentation can vary considerably from the folky “Kings”, to the road trip worthy indie pop song “Flight”, and to the darker cinematic rock tones of “Airborne”.
