Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Strangely Alright. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere created by their music.
This music is a fantastic journey, the airy and magical sounds won me over immediately.
The voice with its high timbre made me fall into the sound universe proposed by this band. I closed my eyes and I wandered in the melody and I began to travel with my imagination.
I saw myself flying over the ocean and below me, I saw dolphins playing with the waves. The wind that caressed my hair made me feel free.
This music transfers beautiful vibes and manages to free the mind from the problems of everyday life.
The guitar solo is very beautiful, intense and passionate. A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Strangely Alright are sonic time-travelers. They paint paisley patterned pictures that shimmer with the 60’s mercurial blend of darkness and innocence, they mesh psychedelia and pop melodies together, they run rock muscle through the most danceable of tunes and they are the perfect blend of past and present.
Their reference points, early Floyd’s whimsy, later Beatles experimentalism, Bolan-esque strut, as well as later retro-revivalists such as Redd Kross and Jellyfish, might suggest that they spend their time glancing back to past glories. But they are here NOW. A band making music for today.
