Good Day Noir Family,
Moontwin, the duo known for their innovative sound, has dropped another gem with their new single, “Storm in a Shell”.
Storm in a Shell is Moontwin’s Single Out Now
This sonic journey transports the listener into a world of an electronic dream.
The song opens with a hypnotic, rhythmic electronic beat immediately setting the mood.
Maple Bee’s vocals, as always, are fantastic. Her voice is like a gentle breeze, carrying you away to another dimension. It’s ethereal and dreamlike, yet powerful and emotive.
Around the 1:10 mark, the track shifts gears. The beat becomes more intense and driving, and the overall vibe of the song becomes more energetic.
This section of the song, paired with the accompanying music video, creates a sense of motion and speed. It’s as if the listener is on a wild ride. Yet, in this frenetic energy, there’s a sense of tranquillity and balance.
The electronic elements intertwine with the organic sounds of nature, creating a harmonious blend.
Moontwin has once again demonstrated their ability to craft music that innovative and accessible. Their meticulous attention to sound design and their knack for creating unique atmospheres is evident throughout the track.
