Storm Doris is Doris’ Ep Out Now
Good Day Noir Family,

Storm Doris is Doris’ Ep Out Now
The compositional style of this band is psychedelic and ethereal.
As soon as I pressed the play button I was immediately struck by the singer’s voice. A hypnotic tone that speaks to the soul of the listener.
One thing that I really liked is the mix. The voice is “immersed” in the music but manages to emerge. A delicate and perfect balance that further enhances the uniqueness of the Doris sound.
Storm Doris is a solid Ep, all the songs follow a coherent vision. These guys show that they have a great compositional experience behind them and that they spend a lot of time in the rehearsal room. The musical alchemy created by all the band’s members is enviable.
I suggest to everyone to go and listen to them, you will be surprised by the quality of their songs.
Storm Doris is Doris’ Ep Out Now!
Intriguing!
Doris was born out of a stormy night in London. This eclectic group of musicians blends shoegaze and dream pop influences with their own unique flair. Romy Jo’s ethereal vocals rise over Andrew Lancaster’s shimmering guitar riffs and Jerry Lane’s cinematic keyboards. Their debut album Storm Doris was recorded in an old army bunker in the Cotswolds by producer Hugh Fielding, featuring Joseph Johns on bass and Jonny Maiden on drums. The album captures the essence of Doris: a band that embraces fun and chaos concurrently.
