Static Motion is Jetty Grove’s Album
We are faced with a very talented songwriter.
His compositional style reminded me of 90’s artists. In some moments this nostalgic and alternative folk made me think of artists like Beck, especially for the vocal interpretation.
It’s as if Simon & Garfunkel and Cat Steven have met and modernized their sound.
In addition to being a gifted composer Jetty Grove is also a poet. The lyrics are intriguing and deep and are able to hypnotize the listener.
Static Motion is a solid album, honestly, I liked all the tracks. The album follows a coherent thread.
While listening to these beautiful tunes I closed my eyes and let myself be carried away by the current of notes and I began to travel with my imagination. Jetty Grove’s music makes you want to travel and feel free… somehow his songs speak to your soul.
A great find that I recommend to everyone!

“There are recurring lyrical themes of self-doubt, isolation, and mental health issues. Rick’s Car Shop is about a real repair shop owner that used to frequent a cafe next door that I worked at for about a year. I always tried to give him a free drink but he insisted on paying, and the tip was pretty much always $6 exactly.“
