Starfish Stiletto is the VOO’s Single | Indie Music
As soon as I started listening to their new single Starfish Stiletto I was catapulted into a twilight musical universe.
the VOO, like Chefs, have mixed influences and inspirations from different genres and have managed to create a sound recipe that makes them stand out from the crowd.
I very much appreciated the original use of the pauses. The single Starfish Stiletto sounds like a speech that has commas and periods. Those sudden stops reminded me of a typewriter reaching the end of the page and sending you back to the next line.
The compositional approach is certainly original and unique.
These guys developed a strong artistic taste that allowed them to create this beautiful sound.
I recommend everyone to go and listen to this duo, you will be amazed by the quality of their music.

The VOO (UK/GER) glide in and out of a trippy combination of styles starting with surf and winding their way through Kraut- and Stoner-Rock influences into a dreamy, Twin-Peaks vibe. A sound that ranges from simple, puristic Rock ‘n’ Roll to a psychedelic, loop-induced trip into outer-space.
Ben Galliers: Vocals, Guitar – Andrew Krell: Double Bass
