our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to SpünDay. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like their unique compositional style.
The sound of this band is fantastic, these guys offer innovative music like ‘Bonehead’ of Naked City in the late 80s.
A chaotic compositional style that won’t let you breathe and you are literally overwhelmed by this sound wave.
Try to think about taking a canoe and tackling rapids, at first you try to control the current but in the end, you just have to submit to the power of the river.
When listening to SpünDay’s music, you just have to let yourself go without asking too many questions.
They will guide you into their sonic universe that is not made up of compromises.
I liked their music very much because it is original and unique and I love bands that have a courageous compositional approach that does not follow commercial rules.
A band to keep under the radar for sure.

ICE-TV reveals a hallucinatory account of out of body experiences, an imaginary affluent uptown and a ghetto area downtown. Filled with disreputable characters guiding the way to a life of hustling and crime. All sound-tracked to the guitar pedal drenched pandemonium and tumult produced by the band. This is the group’s first new material since the release of the debut album Shock Wave Gang Bang last year.
