Soldier Boy is Mick J. Clark’s Single
As soon as I pressed the play button I realized that I was in front of a very interesting singer-songwriter.
A compositional style that looks to the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
Soldier Boy’s melody is touching and refined, as well as contemporary, given what is happening around the world right now.
The vocal interpretation of Mick J. Clark is delicate and sweet and makes you believe in the lyrics.
I really liked the whistle that made me feel like I was marching with the soldier across a boundless plain… a lot of hope in my heart and many memories in my head.
This song demonstrates uncommon compositional skills, in some moments the style of Mick J. Clark reminded me of artists like Cat Stevens.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
