Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Teen Mortgage in the past but they are out now with a new cool Ep and I want to share my opinion about it.
This duo is back and when you see them coming it’s always good news. Their new ep Smoked is a fantastic uncompromising work, direct, effective and as powerful as a Mike Tyson punch.
The thing that I like most about this band is that even if they are American their sound reminds English Punk so more than Blink 182 they sound like The Clash and I personally like a lot this kind of music.
Smoked is a very coherent Ep, it pushes from start to finish and has as its main theme the passion for real music the one that is born in the basements, in those rooms where the carpet smells of beer and cigarettes.
This duo is once again reconfirmed by proposing a fantastic work that I recommend everyone to listen to.
Smoked is Teen Mortgage’s Ep Out Now!
Pure Energy!
Washington DC’s tinnitus transmitting twosome, Teen Mortgage, return post-pandemic with “Smoked”, their sophomore release through greasy Brooklyn cassette slingers, King Pizza Records. Once again, the duo are back to smack you over the head with seething surf punk riffs setting the scene to explain this cultural wasteland they call America,
