our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Smoke Spider. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify I liked their compositional style.
The sound created by this duo is truly intriguing.
Mysterious, psychedelic music that seems to hide a secret. A compositional style that takes inspiration from the past but at the same time manages to be modern.
The new single Linger in My Memory is epic and was able to make me travel with the imagination and I saw myself driving aimlessly in the great American expanses, leaving behind me only the desert sand.
The sound is so deep that somehow spoke directly to my heart and soul.
This twilight music composed by Smoke Spider lives in a limbo of its own and that is why is able to stand out from the crowd.
A fantastic find that I recommend to everyone.

Smoke Spider is releasing their fifth single since the start: Linger in My Memory. With their signature strong melodies and that special groove the Swedish duo present yet another cool single, the fifth since the founding of the project early 2021. Linger in My Memory is trying the idea of forgetfulness being the solution of a lot of uncomfortable situations and emotions, due to stuff and persons lingering a little bit too long in your memory.
Smoke Spider, hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, is the sonic project of Göran Florström (vocalist & lyricist) and Johan Granat (producer & all instruments). Knowing each other from the heydays of the 90s, Göran and Johan are happy to be re-connecting and letting the creativity flow once again, just like it did back in the 90s in those
cramped apartments where so many hit songs were written. Linger in My Memory is their latest single.
