Already from the first seconds that I felt his fingers gently pluck the strings of the guitar I was fascinated by the sound of this artist.
A very refined and interesting compositional approach. Unpredictable music that follows an original path that has not been walked before.
I would say that this music has something Avant-garde and manages to mix many genres in it, an original recipe that creates a unique sound.
I saw myself driving my convertible Porsche on the Côte d’Azur in the 70s, this music made me feel the Mediterranean breeze in my hair and made me feel the heat of a past summer on my skin.

Sisyphes \si.zif\ is the new, Margate-based project by former La Houle guitarist and songwriter Geoffrey Papin. Their unique part-pop, part-dreamy and definitely alternative sound features elements of the avantpop music of Stereolab, Broadcast and Julien Gasc, wavy guitars and synths inherited from shoegaze, and touch of French synthwave.
