Innovative!
thankmelater. is an alt-indie rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee comprised of vocalist Eric Vattima and guitarist/producer Jacob Redding.
Las Vegas native, Eric Vattima, and DM(V) born and raised, Jacob Redding, are no strangers to the harsh truths that come from life, especially in the realm of the music entertainment industry. Having met during their college years in Nashville, TN, the two bonded over a love of Alternative Rock and HipHop/RnB. After spending extensive time tackling solo acts, other bands, and collaborative projects, the two longtime friends decided it was time to create something new together, which they’ve aptly titled “thankmelater.”
Primarily pulling their sonic inspiration from the likes of The Neighbourhood, Twenty One Pilots, The Wrecks, and Khruangbin, the two writers/producers are blending atmospheric guitars and HipHop grooves and samples with just enough high energy Rock to keep things interesting. Their lyrics touch on self reflective thought, heartbreak, and the angst and confusion that’s come from growing up in a society that has drastically changed the meaning behind what it takes to be an artist.
With the release of their first few singles (like their debut “shutmedown.” ), and the drop of their debut EP this fall, they aim to tell their collection of stories from the last few years of their careers as they experiment and refine their sound for fans of Alt-Indie Rock, while further showing their overall love for music performance.
