Surely we are dealing with a band with a lot of personality.
The main architect of this musical project is Sunday Hunter. An artist who proves to have a solid artistic vision and above all a personality that unleashes rock vibes.
The compositional style is modern and innovative. The choice of sounds is highly sought after. The keyboards in some passages reminded me of 80’s arcades like Ghosts’N Goblins.
Sunday Hunter’s voice is intense and sexy and her passion for music is evident. The alchemy of the band is solid and even if She Hz is their debut single these musicians demonstrate to have a lot of experience.
Liposuction have been able to create a sound blend that makes them stand out from the crowd.
A band to keep under the radar as they produce quality music.

She Hz is Liposuction’s Single Out Now
Liposuction is the newest and greatest brainchild of Brisbane-based Australian artist Sunday Hunter. As front-woman, Sunday lends her vocals, electric guitar and keys to the band’s sound complemented by Guy Drory’s drums and Shannon Kilcoyne’s bass guitar. With influences like Devo, Nine Inch Nails and, Amyl and the Sniffers, you can expect catchy, driving tunes with a sinister edge which transcend the genres of pop-rock and punk to create something truly unique.
According to Sunday, “She Hz is a reflection on the reckless, self-destructive, and sometimes illegal behaviours we undertake in our younger years. When I was a young artist living in Sydney I would often roam the streets, sometimes trespassing on private property like abandoned warehouses and got myself into trouble a few times. This song is an ode to those years and experiences, like looking through a window into that time of my life.”
The band has been working hard, refining their sound, writing mind-blowing new tracks.
