Seven Wonders is Electric High’s Single Out Now
Imagine a grotesque caravan of clowns invading the streets of the city and playing pranks on people…
Imagine all this in slow motion. I don’t know why but as soon as I started listening to this tune I had this vision.
Electric High are used to amaze and that’s why I also believe they can build the Seven Wonders “One day I’ll build you the seven wonders“.
This tune is fantastic a pounding beat from start to finish and a guitar solo that reminded me of Brian May for the sound.
The change of atmosphere at 3.40 minutes was also beautiful, reinforcing this circus idea. After all, even the circus is just a beautiful illusion, it makes you dream for a while and then we all return to reality without seeing the Seven Wonders.
Electric High always manage to stimulate me, they make me see things from another perspective.
This is truly a great band.

Impressive!
Seven Wonders is Electric High’s Single Out Now
Electric High has been charging up and kept busy building nothing less than Seven Wonders, in the shape of a brand new pounding rock tune.
Sometimes you end up promising too much in order to get what you want. Seven Wonders is a song about taking it more than a few steps too far and biting far more than you can chew. One day I’ll build you the seven wonders, PV Staff and Olav Iversen sing on the chorus of Electric High’s brand new tune. That sums it up nicely.
Seven Wonders is driven by a sincere, heavily strolling guitar riff and drum beat. The intense rock vocals of the two singers boast ridiculous promises based on historical myths of Zeus, Helios, King Nebukadnesar of Babylon, and the seven wonders of the ancient world. There is burning intensity and soaring desire shifting back and forth as the story and the song plays out. Towards the end the whole song breaks down, and comes back with a crazy folk-inspired finale, where the promises of building seven wonders crumble in a weak moment of clarity and realism. This is a lesson in ancient history delivered in a way that you sure haven’t heard before!
Electric High is a high voltage rock band from Bergen, Norway, influenced by bands like Wolfmother, Aerosmith and Black Sabbath. The members hail from bands like Sahg, Faith Circus, and Emmerhoff & The Melancholy Babies. Electric High goes straight for the throat, fronted by two in-your-face lead singers, carried forth by a power-trio that shoots out pure electric power.
