The refined style of this artist fascinated me and I listened with interest to his new single Fade Away.
The bass moves constantly proposing intricate melodics that keep the whole rhythmic part upright. The groove of this song is “infectious” and you feel the need to start dancing.
The chord progression is full of melodic and rhythmic twists that entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
Seán McComish is an artist with great compositional experience behind him and you can feel it from the quality of the music he offers to the public.

Seán McComish is a pop artist and songwriter from Fethard-On-Sea, Wexford, Ireland. Inspired as a child by hearing ‘Music and Me’ by Michael Jackson, he decided to pursue a life in music. McComish began his career with an impressive start in the Irish live music scene – some of his very first performances in 2015 were at Whelan’s and the prestigious Ruby Sessions, which he followed with the acclaimed EP, ‘The First Step’. It earned him the chance to perform with the likes of Wild Youth, Calum Scott, Gavin James, The Academic, Aslan and Jake Carter, before embarking in 2017 on tours across Austria and Ireland.
He has gone on to receive widespread airplay, including coverage from Beat 102-103, and RTÉ 2FM. The pandemic saw McComish turn limitation into opportunity. He built a home studio, and discovered a latent love for music production and mixing, proving his capabilities with breakout 2021 single, ‘Stay Away From Me’. Seán McComish has made himself the definitive all-rounder pop artist, and one to keep a close eye on in 2022.
