our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Sam From Accounting. I discovered this great band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I instantly loved the futuristic sound of their songs.
Listening to Sam’s music, I was immediately struck by the originality of the chosen sounds. Very modern and electronic sounds mixed with a rock verve, a bit vintage in my opinion.
The voice has many effects and Sam From Accounting like to play with different tones, probably using a pitch corrector. The effect is very intriguing, the vocal mix is interestingly weird and cool.
Surely Sam From Accounting like to experiment and somehow reminded me of Beck’s creativity.
A futuristic sound, and an approach to musical composition absolutely different and original.
The chord progression is never taken for granted and the listener is always surprised by something unpredictable.

Different strange but fascinating music!
Sam from Accounting is an ambitious Indie Rock trio birthed in the COVID-19 pandemic. The band released its second single, “Small Estate,” on November 23, 2020 as an attempt to begin the creation of a new universe told through catchy tunes and interesting videos.
Once venues open up, the band looks to use its increased following as a platform to spread awareness and raise funds for programs that feed and care for the homeless population in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This would be accomplished through “Charity Festivals” where fans could see their favorite local bands while raising money for the cause.
