Safari is Sehore’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
Sehore’s latest single, “Safari,” hits hard and fast, much like a scene from a Quentin Tarantino film.

Safari is Sehore’s Single Out Now

The song instantly throws you into a world of frantic, disorienting rhythms that unsettle rather than soothe.

The intense pace sets a tone that is equal parts chaotic and unnerving, a perfect match for the track’s raw lyrics. The unrelenting beat mirrors the frantic thoughts that can spiral in the mind when confronted with fear — fear of the unknown, fear of the different, and the internal struggles of those with fewer opportunities.

There’s an almost uncomfortable energy to the track, as the rhythm buzzes in your ears like an incessant mosquito, always circling but never quite landing.

This sense of unease is amplified by the sharp, jarring rhythms that feel like they’re pushing you further into a corner, relentlessly moving forward without giving you a chance to breathe.

The song doesn’t just capture the emotional chaos; it also mirrors the thoughts racing through the mind of someone grappling with these fears and frustrations.

What’s especially impressive is how Sehore manages to create this intense atmosphere without resorting to mainstream formulas.

“Safari” is an artistic statement, one that challenges listeners and pulls them into its whirlwind of sound and emotion.

Unrestrained!

“”Safari” is a song that uses the whole-tone scale. The lyrics go against aporophobia.”

Sehore is a newly emerging musical project that began its journey in 2025 with the release of its debut album, Ladencia. The project presents an alternative approach to songwriting, blending familiar chord progressions with unconventional harmonies often avoided in mainstream music.

Sehore’s core proposal is an alternative blend of songs composed with standard chord progressions contrasted with other harmonies that are typically avoided and referred to as dissonances (“Pesadilla,” “Mañana,” “Safari,” “Vals,” etc.). The tracks play with kitsch and a “cheesy” style, steering away from emulating a specific era and instead combining rhythms from different periods. However, listeners are free to interpret the music however they wish. The album intentionally includes noises that, while reducing sound cleanliness, add a more natural feel.

Recorded at Paco Loco Studio.
Mastered at Kadifornia by Mario G. Alberni.
