Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Roxx Revolt & the Velvets. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked a lot their compositional style.
The music of this band is fantastic and is immediately capable of putting you in a good mood.
As soon as I pressed the play button I got an irrepressible desire to dance.
I can feel that we are facing a band with great experience that has spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.
The bass and drums follow each other like a shadow as the guitars venture into sinuous and captivating riffs, while the voice interprets the lyrics in a unique way and entertains the listener from the first to the last second.
For music lovers like Greta Van Fleet… a band that has a bright future ahead of them, they present themselves to the world with a solid and clear musical and artistic vision.

Energetic and Fresh!
When solo artist ROXX REVOLT met THE VELVETS, lightning struck and started a fire. From those raging flames and embers, Roxx Revolt & The Velvets was officially born. With metal maestro DAN HEATH on bass, a wizard on the guitar — JAKE SHOCKLEY — and raging percussion by CHRIS CAMPO, the group tied up a mix of influences that have allowed them to sound nostalgic and brand new all at the same time.
Each member’s individuality has molded RR&TV into what is nothing less than a supernova of glam rock, classic rock and roll and riotous punk. The group’s energy itself is where power and glamour meet. Being heavily influenced by groups like the Rolling Stones, Iggy and the Stooges, T.Rex, the Clash, Black Sabbath, and David Bowie, they roll their own way by creating a mix of genres they define as “glammy-punk and roll.”
