our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Rosie Langley. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked her compositional style a lot.
From the very first notes, you realize that you are in front of a great artist. This music is as refined as the one of Tori Amos…do you remember her? Ethereal melodies that sometimes even recall those of Enya.
Even if I felt these influences, Rosie Langley managed to create a unique and original sound.
The obsessive attention to every detail makes this music magic. The arrangements of the strings and piano are fantastic and the vocal interpretation flawless.
This music speaks directly to the heart and soul of the listener and while I was lulled by this sweet melody I closed my eyes and I began to fly with the imagination, forgetting for a moment the problems of everyday life.

Rosie Langley is a multi instrumentalist, singer and producer. She tours the world playing violin with artists like ELO, Elbow and Tom Chaplin and works as a session musician in London whilst also making her own music – autobiographic and symphonic songs.
