Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Rhys Tranter. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the quality of his music.
As soon as you press play on Rhys Tranter’s music you realize you’re dealing with an experienced, mature artist.
When you press play on Rhys’s music you don’t realize why this artist is not already known worldwide.
Refined music, never predictable with a melodic progression never banal and with a chord progression that has the ability to keep the listener glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
I was struck by the quality of the production and the mix.
A perfect balance between the various musical instruments. Music that lives and breathes with full lungs the purity of the air of the infinite and deserted Australian expanses.
Australia is not new to giving the world great artists and I’m sure that one day there will be gold also for Rhys.
A talented artist who presents himself to the world with songs that have nothing to envy to the mainstream artists.
I found no flaws in his music project, everything flows perfectly. The voice has an interesting timbre and is immediately recognizable.
A great discovery that I absolutely recommend.
My Living Room of Acceptance is Rhys Tranter’s EP Out Now!
Music ready for the masses!
Rhys Tranter is a singer-songwriter currently based in Melbourne. He has been writing music since he was 16, and songwriting has become his main focus since returning back to Australia, after living and playing music in London for two years. Rhys has played in a variety of bands for several years within the Australian music scene, specifically his hometown of Newcastle, NSW. Most recently, Rhys decided to strike out on his own after exploring more acoustically based sounds.
Rhys Tranter has been making headway as an artist with his unique perspective as a song-writer (think War on Drugs meets Paper Kites) and is ready to release his recorded work captured during his time in London. Rhys worked closely with Mat Leppanen at The Animal Farm Music to develop a viscerally emphatic and delicately human EP entitled: My Living Room of Acceptance.
