Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Rhaina Yasmin. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked her voice and music.
The music of this artist is magical. A truly intriguing blend that immediately won me over.
In Rhaina Yasmin’s music, I have heard many influences … some grunge, rock, and even alternative vibes which are mixed together in a very original way and which create a very interesting sound.
This girl really makes beautiful music, the chord progression is never predictable and banal and she manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second, keeping you glued to the speakers.
Her vocal timbre is very marvelous, magical, and light but she manages to give the right energy even in the most rock parts of her new single Grocery Store.
An artist who seems to have a bright future ahead of her, a beautiful discovery that I recommend to everyone.
Grocery Store is Rhaina Yasmin’s Single Out Now!
Fresch and Energetic!
Rhaina Yasmin is a singer songwriter and guitarist rooted in soft indie alternative rock. Originally from New York, the now, Las Vegas based musician brings evocative lyricism and hook filled melody lines through themes of childhood nostalgia, anxiety, and grief; resulting in crunchy, sometimes ambient, sound waves. The Cranberries, Radiohead, and Elliott Smith to folk songstresses Joni Mitchell and Phoebe Bridgers, have heavily influenced Yasmin’s powerful and soaring repertoire.
Rhaina Yasmin is no stranger to the stage, playing local venues and nationally touring as young as 16 years old. Yasmin released her debut single ‘Garden Party’ in October of 2019, a song that reflects the humanness of longing, followed by an EP titled ‘Wither’, featuring soul driven, melancholic anthems, in August of 2020. She plans to continue sharing heartfelt emotions and experiences through music.
