Retreat is WEAK TYRANT’s Single Out Now

I already reviewed WEAK TYRANT but they are out now with a new single and I want to share my opinion about it.
I really liked this new single “Retreat” from this great band.
In particular, I was fascinated by the arpeggio and the melodies of the voice that somehow reminded me of medieval atmospheres and I felt as the monks of the film “The Name Of The Rose”.
I saw those places and breathed that humid air made of mud, fog, slush, and blood. A difficult era, full of heroes and derelicts but also an epic historical period made up of knights and battles.
This music is epic and perfectly played by these great musicians and the production as usual is flawless.
The rhythm of the drums is beautiful, with ghost notes and daring rhythmic passages that fill this song in a fantastic way.
A beautiful tune that I recommend to everyone.

The song “Retreat” is a description about a human need. Choosing the right strategy to gain distance varies for everybody. It can be a specific action or change to another environment. In this song the retreat takes place as a journey, which helps a person to move on, to get rid of frustration and thus to gain new perspectives.
