I already reviewed Scarlet Joy in the past but they are back with a new cool single “Rescue” and I want to share my opinion about it.

The epic and hypnotic atmosphere created by the sound of this band is also confirmed in this new single Rescue.
The thing I like the most is that these guys have found their music. Their compositional style is original and unique and lives in a musical universe of its own.
Scarlet Joy has recently started its musical path but its artistic maturity seems to be already very developed.
In just 3 years they created a sound that manages to make many musical influences coexist in perfect balance. In their tunes, you can hear shades of the Cranberries, Foo Fighters, and Evanescence.
The voice of the singer adds a touch of mystery and magic that is able to distinguish and make their sound stand out from the crowd.

‘Rescue’ is the 2nd single from new power trio Scarlet Joy, from their upcoming debut album ‘Mourning Pages’ which was recorded on location at Sophia’s Mums farmhouse near Spilsby by producer&drummer Phil Wilson, also from Lincolnshire.
The house was turned into a home recording studio for a week! To be able to record the takes as a live band we had to separate everything, so the bass amp was in the cupboard under the stairs, the guitar amp was in the bathroom, vocals being sung in the kitchen and there were cables running from every room! It was so much fun and really great to capture the songs with that live feel & energy.We had to be creative with where& how to record, with the budget we had& Covid restrictions but it turned out to be such a cool experience &created a great sound.
