Behind our screens, we’re more isolated than ever, and Packetloss doesn’t hold back in exposing this reality. The song’s driving intensity mirrors the disillusionment of our so-called connected world.
Escape amps up the energy further with a guitar riff that hits hard, echoing the introspective lyrics and desire to break free from mental and emotional restraints.
On the other hand, Shards introduces a slightly more nostalgic vibe, showing the band’s versatility with a ballad that still carries the weight of their message but with a softer touch.
One of the highlights, Break The Chains, explodes with a fierce guitar riff and a relentless rhythm that exudes wild energy. It’s a track that pushes you to wake up and shake off the chains of conformity, delivering that rebellious, liberating punk spirit.

Recorded remotely between Scotland and Ireland, “Reconnected” encapsulates the band’s emotional journey over the past year and a half, reflecting themes of frustration, isolation, and introspection.
Originating from Limerick, Ireland, Packetloss is a dynamic trio comprising Jamie on vocals and lead guitar, GeetarJack on rhythm guitar and bass, and Steve on drums and song mixing. Formed in April of 2023, the band’s fusion of influences ranging from Linkin Park to Green Day and Blink 182 has culminated in their highly anticipated original album.
