The collaboration between producer Pam Sheyne (best known for co-writing Christina Aguilera’s Genie in a Bottle) and artist Daniel Steer has certainly been successful.
The new single Rebel is an intense and catchy rock/pop song that manages to entertain you from the first to the last second.
The musical arrangements and melodic nuances are excellent. This song flows really well. The chord progression is flawless and the interpretation by Daniel Steer is masterful.
The vocal timbre of this artist is perfect for the genre and stands out in the mix. A voice that is immediately recognizable…a hallmark of his musical project.
Rebel’s rhythmic cadence sent electrical impulses to my nervous system which began to fuel my desire to dance.
A song that charges you with great vital energy.
A talented artist that I recommend everyone to go and listen to.

Multi-talented indie/rock songwriter, producer, performer and musician, Daniel is probably best known as the front man of rock band Reigning Days who were signed to Marshall Records and performed on main stages internationally, headlined festivals and toured extensively throughout Europe, the USA, India, Russia and in the UK at Glastonbury, Download, Latitude, 2,000 Trees, The Great Escape.
In his teens Daniel fronted indie rock band The Quails who supported Muse at their homecoming Seaside Rendez-Vous gig. Daniel has released 6 albums and has had tracks in the Kerrang!, Scuzz and MTV top 10 charts.
His songs have featured in feature films, ABC trailers, adverts, TV dramas and sports channels including the BBC Winter Olympics. He has had multiple radio play listings, including numerous weeks spent on BBC Radio playlists. His tracks have also been played in the UK and internationally on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, Planet Rock, XFM, BBC Introducing, KROQ LA, Portland FM, Radio 101 Italy, Flux FM, Germany, Virgin Europe and he has had number one tracks on Apple Rock and MTV rock. His music has had several million streams on Spotify and he has music released on independent and major labels including Sony UK.
Unable to perform during lockdown, Daniel focussed on writing and recording and Rebel will be the first of a number of single releases in 2022.
