Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Random Access. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of their music.
I immediately liked the timbre of the voice, high and slightly hoarse in typical rock style… that rock of the past, the real rock!
In their compositional approach, I heard the Stones, Led Zeppelin, and many other legendary bands that have certainly influenced the music of this talented band.
Music that is able to make you travel and make you feel free.
Listening to these songs I saw myself driving my convertible along the Australian coasts looking for freedom.
The sea breeze made me feel alive and this music as a soundtrack awakened my wildest spirit.
Random Access can speak to the heart and soul because their music is sincere and authentic.
Directly from Australia a breath of energy and freedom.
Jewel in the Crown is Random Access’ Single Out Now!
Real rock, Real Band!
Random Access deliver a sound that reflects their eclectic mix of influences and personalities. Blended together sounds of 90’s Alt Rock, Aussie Classic Rock and storytelling lyrics, this is Random Access. Three of the four, Andrew McSweeny, Mark McCall and Terry O’Connor met and bonded over their love of music at a Brisbane Music School in 2015. This was where Random Access was born.
By 2019, they had locked in their fourth member, Chris Johnson to give you the lineup you see today. Random Access are: Andrew ‘Andy’ McSweeny – vox + guitar Mark McCall – lead guitar + backing vox Terry ‘Tez’ O’Connor – bass Chris Johnson – drums + guitar + harmonica + backing vox Whilst Random Access take their music very seriously, they are also all about having fun with what they do, any live show will display both their musicianship and their fun side all at once
